The Bills!
Last night, I went to see The Bills
http://www.thebills.ca at the Tractor Tavern
http://tractortavern.citysearch.com/ over in Ballard. My original hopes and plans were for a bunch of us to go, you know, a big batch of rowdy musicians enjoying a great show. Anyway, EVERYONE else cheesed out, backed out, and declined (despite the fact I ordered AND PAID for the tickets several weeks ago)
I was over in Ballard early and grabbed dinner at one of those innumerable fish shacks along the canal. Some fun time at Archie McPhee's
http://www.mcphee.com/ (a REALLY fun place!), a music store, and bookstore before going over to the Tractor. Nice little place, a lot like Jazzbones in Tacoma.
Thanksgiving weekend
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Thursday, we visited our good friends, Dave and Kim for a big feast! Selina was there with her little boy, and all the kids played together quite well. There was plenty of turkey, stuffing, varied veggies, lots of dessert, as well as some fine wine and beer. I found a great recipe for creamed spinach, just like Boston Market makes it. Go to copykat.com and find lots of great recipes, lovingly lifted from a variety of your favorite restaurants!
Friday was a quiet day at home, with some gardening and cleaning.
Saturday, My sweety went to a Christmas craft fair in Gig Harbor, while I took the kids to see "Chicken Little", a fun little movie.
Sunday was a nice day, weathe-wise, so we went to watch the spawning salmon struggling up Chico Creek.
Now, we're getting ready for a winter storm warning-4-7 inches of snow by 6 am tomorrow! I'll keep you posted!

What follows here are a lot of pictures, in no real order. I wanted to get them posted quickly so all of you can enjoy them. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out the correct sequence... This silly blog program won't let me move pictures around, so here they are!
