Weekend travels

This past weekend, we travelled to Corvallis to attend our nephew's First Communion. Although it was a short weekend, the time was well spent. Watching all the cousins together, if only for two days, is well worth any trip. We swam in the hotel pool, enjoyed great Mexican food, and helped him celebrate his First Communion, along with 37 other First Communicants, and all their families. The large church was VERY crowded!
Our drive back home was also very pleasant, with a stop at Salem's famous Carousel-The kids loved it! Please check out their website, and click on "The Horses" tab to see great pix of all the horses. http://www.salemcarousel.org/index.htm She rode on "Jazz" the zebra, and he picked "Morning Glory"
After, we went to Powell's Books in Portland http://www.powells.com/ , of course, then dinner at the Olympic Club in Centralia http://www.mcmenamins.com/index.php?loc=42&category=Location%20Homepage After, the kids put on their pj's, and slept most of the way home.
Please note-pictures will be posted as soon as I get our computer's new operating system (XP) figured out...
